NSA Chief Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai has said the current status of the National Stadium together with ongoing reforms and bold efforts to entice thousands of youths into sports, is speaking to the fact that sports will never be the same again.
Thanking the Government of Sierra Leone, the SLFA, and other parties involved, Dr. Abdulai described the quality of the artificial turf constructed at the National Stadium Practising Field as unique. He spoke about the meticulous steps they are taking to fix the sport infrastructural problems in Sierra Leone.
Last month, he joined the Minister of Sports to sign landmark sport infrastructure development collaborations with Qatar sport officials in Doha.
In the sidelines during that tour, Dr. Abdulai signed another agreement on behalf of Luawa FC to be exporting football talents to West Asia. This will open a new international market for Sierra Leonean players to not only better their lives but also the lives of their family, friends, and those in the various communities they emanate. The end result is that the process will improve lives back home.
