The National Moral Guarantors of the Agreement of National Unity Committee visited the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone at its Tower Hill office on Friday, 25th April 2025.

The purpose of the meeting was to follow up on the progress made by the Commission based on the recommendations outlined in the Unity Agreement and the Tripartite Report.

The eighty-four (84) recommendations by the Tripartite Committee are mandated to be actionable and enforceable by the term of reference (ToR) signed by representatives of the Government, All People’s Congress (APC) and the International Community.

It is worthy to note that none of the recommendations posited a rerun of June 2023 elections.

The APC executive had earlier told their membership that the June 2023 elections were done and dusted, a reason why they should reenergize themselves for 2028 elections.
