The International Cricket Council (ICC) has awarded Sierra Leone the best Women’s Cricket Development Initiative 2024 in Africa.
The feat has attracted the country’s nomination for the award’s global variant.
It is expected to compete for grace at that level alongside Spain, Vanuatu, Brazil, and Bhutan.
“Sierra Leone’s cricket development drive is being recognized by the cricket world governing body and cricket fans across the globe. This calls for celebration,” said the Board Chairman of Cricket Sierra Leone, Francis Trevor Samura.
