Popular cameraman working for the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) David Williams lost his life in a gruesome road accident along Kambia Highway Tuesday morning.
An eyewitness said the driver lost control of the car bearing the sticker ‘ YAMSAL Development Services’ and swerved into a heap nearby. The car somersaulted. Williams and a lady died upon impact. An old man who occupied the front seat is said to be in a critical condition, but another journalist survived.
Reports say Williams was heading for Kambia to attend BAN event.
The driver reported himself to the Port Loko Police Station as investigations continue.
