PC Alimamy Baio Yembeh V has been dully elected as Paramount Chief of Kalanthuba Chiefdom, Tonkolili District.
From one polling centre, two polling stations, and for six contenders, three hundred and fifty-six tribal authorities cast their votes.
Commissioner of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) Abubakarr M Koroma spearheaded the elections and officially handed over the Kalanthuba Paramount Chieftaincy Election results to the Provincial Secretary North, Mr Alex Soriebah, on behalf of the Chief Electoral Commissioner Mohamed Konneh.
Commissioner Koroma described the election as peaceful, a reason he thanked all six contenders for the position for maintaining the peace throughout the process.
