Hon. Justice Manuela AJ Harding has sentenced one Justice Jusu Kallon to 10 years imprisonment for house breaking and stealing of perfumes, T-shirts, one bluetooth speaker, and other valuables.
According to reports, the convict was before the court on two counts of indictment of House Breaking and Larceny contrary to the Larceny Act of 1916.
Citing the particulars of the offence, Jusu Kallon was alleged to have entered into the house of Josephus Choe Junior Mamie and stole their perfumes, T-shirts, one solar light, bags, pairs of trousers, one bluetooth speaker, Le. 209 in cash, wristwatch, among other items.
He pleaded guilty and begged for mercy.
Hon. Justice Manuela AJ Harding sentenced the accused to 10 years imprisonment: five years for count one and five years for the other.
She pinpointed that both terms should be served concurrently in an effort to discourage such from reoccurring.
