NSA Boss Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai has called on the newly appointed Female Premier League Board to uphold transparency and accountability.

He made this demand on Friday while Government’s Three Point Five Billion Old Leones support to the conduct of the 2024-2025 Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League at his Signal Hill Road office.

Dr Abdulai pointed out the value for money and appealed to the Board to do justice in the utilization of the funding. He asked that proper structures be put in place to discourage disorderliness.

He concluded by calling on all to push for female-male equal pay. This, he said, will encourage more women into sports and minimise prostitution and substance use.

The Board then assured NSA Chief of its transparency and accountability, stating that due diligence will be done to make the league an enviable one. It pledged its support to the NSA and thanked Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai for the huge financial support.

This whooping sum exceeds last year’s 2.8 Billion Old Leones support.
