A senior military officer of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) Brigadier General Bockarie has been accused of defrauding a local businessman the whooping sum of $ 50,000, which is equivalent to 1.2 billion Leones.

Malodor, the CEO of Malador Company Ltd, says Brig. Gen. Bockarie and two others connived to dupe him the said amount for American Visas.

He narrated that in February last year, Brig. Gen Bockarie, one Alieu and Samking asked him to pay 12,000 dollars per American Visa. He said he paid for seven people only for him to receive fake visas via WhatsApp from the Brigadier General.

He added that when he asked for the passports, they redirected him to redeem them from their business partner.

He admitted receiving calls from State House and ACC on the matter but that nothing has been done since last year.

He calls on the Inspector General of Police to thoroughly investigate this matter.

All efforts to reach Brig. Gen Bockarie has proven futile.
