The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) said it has arrested three fugitives related to the November 2023 failed coup after months of manhunt and investigation.
The fugitives, Alpha Turay, Joseph Dumbuya, and Salieu Jalloh, were arrested in relation to their involvement to topple the legitimate government of President Bio.
In a press release dated April 25, 2025, the SLP reaffirmed its commitment to pursue, apprehend, investigate, and charge to court any individual considered to be part of the failed coup.
It further pledged a whooping sum of NLe 10,000.00 for any whistleblower who provides information leading to the arrest of others still on the run.
The SLP reiterated its commitment to working with well-meaning Sierra Leoneans to create a stable, secure, peaceful Sierra Leone.
