In an effort to bolster the rhythm of creativity and cultural diversity, the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS (ECOWAS) is set to hold the first edition of Africa Fest on Arts and Culture (ECOFEST) in November in Dakarr, Senegal.
The theme for this event is “Socio-political changes and Crisis in West Africa: what can culture do?”
The West Africa Artistic Community is slated to do the officially launch of the occasion.
The thoughtful event will be organized jointly by ECOWAS and West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) in partnership with the Republic of Senegal.
It’s still unclear how performers will be selected for the event.
