Sierra Leone Guma Valley Water Company has said Connaught Hospital is among sixty Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to face water disconnection for failure to pay water rate.

It said the Referral Hospital owes its body two billion old Leones in water rate.

This move, it continued, is in accordance with the GUMA Act as it has exhausted all available avenues to have these MDAs honour their obligations.

The names of the other 59 establishments are yet to be made public.

The disconnection phase is expected to commence next week.
