The National Secretary General of the All People’s Congress (APC) Lansana Dumbuya said in a press conference on Thursday that 18 million people have attempted and failed to intrude into the New APC Registration System.
He further stated that the fortified system database is being uploaded to 3 different icloud accounts and that each ID has a QR code, a reason why he warned members of the public not to waste their time in trying to beat the system.
“The new system will expose all duplication in the old system in an effort to streamline the process.
“In the forthcoming ward elections upwards, only members who have the updated registration ID Card will be allowed to vote,” he added.
He went on to say that the Brook Street incident is still under investigation and that appropriate action will be taken against anyone found wanting.
