SLP Dismisses 1 State House OSD and 23 Others

The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has dismissed one State House OSD and 23 other personnel countrywide.

The dismissal came after the personnel dodged duty for 21 days when not on leave, an act SLP says is contrary to section 26(1) of the Police Disciplinary Regulations 2001.

Support Officers were instructed to disarm the dismissed personnel immediately, including retrieving from them all police items such as badges of identification and certificate of appointment.

The said personnel are:

Hassan I Sesay attached Harbour, S/ MAJ.

Josephus Benya attached RHQ Freetown East,

CPL Emmanuel Yambasu attached Harbour,

CPL Osman Bangura attached OSD HQs,

CPL Saidu J Koroma attached Kenema OSD,

PC Mohamed A Dumbuya attached Harbour,

PC Juana Kallon Yembai attached OSD HQs,

PC Sannah Samura attached OSD HQs,

PC Moses B Mansaray attached RHQ East – OSD

PC Sahied D James attached OSD HQs,

PC Sillah A Kargbo attached OSD HQs
